KORUA Shapes - Rain Dogs - Yearning For Turning in the Pacific Northwest

- «RAIN DOGS» is a reference to Washington State’s “finest” Rainier Beer, which kept us hydrated during our road trip through the PNW in February of 2020 BC (Before Covid). It’s also a slight hint to the predominantly moist weather we experienced on our visit State-side. A trip where our rental car smelled like a pack of wet dogs 24/7, and even with rain so persistent it could soak through the toughest of Gore-Tex, it could not dampen our spirits or stop our mission to film Yearning For Turning in the Pacific North West.
We had an absolute blast navigating the slopes of Baker, Crystal and Bachelor, linking turns on every type of snow imaginable, making new friends in the lift lines and down at the pub, eating day-old pizza from the tailgate in the parking lot, and drinking a couple «Rain Dogs» here and there. Collectively we tried our best to capture our turns in new surroundings, and are pretty darn surprised and happy with the outcome. Hope y’all enjoy it too!

Dude I love these guys as much as the next person, but man you can't just claim shit like that. There are different styles and terrains that riders excel at/in.... These guys are amazing in the niche that they exist in, that I will give you.

Specially if you were out there just, doing. your. thing! When suddenly, inexplicably, and out of nowhere, you fell over and no matter what you tried you just couldn't ride. And your buddies were like, "omg dude! what is going on?!". And all you could do was wave your fist at the sky in frustration and scream at the heavens: "Damn it! Пушка, это имено про катание, повороты, прыжки и в принципе наслаждение процессом сноуборда. Здесь нет супер сложных элементов по типу различных корков итд но в этом и суть, видео в которых накручивают овер градусы с мега огромных пролетов очень много но они все не про катание а про серьезный спорт и недоступность обычному обывателю, я от них порядком устал, этот же ролик и все иные ролики yearning for turning я готов пересматривать бесконечно, спасибо вам

Korua Shapes team proves once again that there is no limit for creativity. Conceptually it is easier to always do black and white videos. You can skip a lot of steps in color grading, matching sunny and cloudy weather, and many other things that come along when you only doing black and white. At some point you would need to start making videos with color too. I can't wait to see what masterpiece you will create with color!
P.S. Korua Pencil Plus was the best board I have ridden so far!
